Founded in 2008, Patel Retail Limited is a retail supermarket chain that operates in main to tier-III cities and surrounding suburban areas. These stores stock a wide range of products including food, non-food, general merchandise and apparel. Patel Retail Limited positions its stores as neighbourhood supermarkets that cater to both daily needs and bulk purchases. Apart from its core retail activity, the company also earns rental income from vendor arrangements within its stores. As of May 2025, it has 38 product categories across 10,000 SKUs. Its products are distributed across various states and sales are from Maharashtra and Gujarat.

The company opened its first store under the brand name "Patels R Mart" in Ambarnath, Maharashtra. As of May 2025, the company operated 43 stores in the suburban areas of Thane and Raigad districts of Maharashtra with a total retail area of approximately 1,78,946 sq ft. These facilities are collectively called the Manufacturing Facilities, while Facility 2 and the Agro-Processing Cluster are collectively called the Kutch Facilities.
