वूमन्स शैंपू, लोशन और बॉडी सॉप में कैंसर केमिकल (Cancer chemicals in women's shampoo, lotion and body soap)

नई स्टडी में खुलासा है कि कई पर्सनल केयर प्रोडक्ट जैसे शैम्पू, बॉडी लोशन, साबुन और आईलैश ग्लू में फॉर्मल्डिहाइड या ऐसे केमिकल हैं जो शरीर में फॉर्मल्डिहाइड छोड़ते हैं. यह केमिकल कैंसर के जोखिम से जुड़ा है और लगातार उपयोग से सीरियस हेल्थ प्रॉब्लम हो सकते हैं. यह शोध लॉस एंजेलिस में रहने वाली 70 महिलाओं पर किया, जिसमें इनमें से 53% महिलाएं ऐसे प्रोडक्ट का रेगुलर यूज है. 

A new study has revealed that many personal care products such as shampoo, body lotion, soap and eyelash glue contain formaldehyde or chemicals that release formaldehyde in the body. This chemical is linked to the risk of cancer and continuous use can cause serious health problems. This research was done on 70 women living in Los Angeles, out of which 53% of these women use such products regularly.

स्टडी -यह अध्ययन पर्यावरण विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी पत्र नामक पत्रिका में प्रकाशित है. शोधकर्ताओं ने एक ऐप के जरिए प्रतिभागियों से उत्पादों के लेबल की तस्वीरें मंगवाईं. विश्लेषण के बाद पता कि 58% हेयर केयर प्रोडक्ट में फॉर्मल्डिहाइड रिलीज वाले केमिकल थे. 

Study - This study is published in the journal Environmental Science and Technology Letters. Researchers asked the participants to send pictures of the labels of the products through an app. After analysis, it was found that 58% of the hair care products contained formaldehyde releasing chemicals.
