ट्रेन टिकट की बुकिंग करते समय खास कोड का ध्यान दे नहीं तो दिक्कत होती है. रेलवे ने बुकिंग कोड और कोच कोड में बड़ा बदलाव है. रेलवे ने ट्रेनों में नये तरह के कोच की शुरुआत है. कोड के जरिए पैसेंजर्स टिकटों की बुकिंग करते समय पसंदीदा सीट चुनते हैं.देशभर के रूट्स पर विस्टाडोम कोच की शुरुआत है.

सभी कैटेगरी के कोच व सीटों के कोड के बारे में जोन के प्रिंसिपल चीफ कॉमर्शियल मैनेजर्स को नोटिफाई किया है. इससे थर्ड एसी क्लास इकोनॉमी कोच का बुकिंग कोड 3E होगा और कोच का कोड M होगा. इसी विस्टडोम एसी कोच का कोड EV रखा है.
