मान्यता प्राप्त बोर्ड या संस्थान से 10वीं कक्षा पास, 10वीं कक्षा में एक विषय मातृभाषा का जरूर चाहिए, कंप्यूटर और साइकिल चलाने का नॉलेज।
10th class pass from a recognized board or institution, with one subject being the local language in 10th class, knowledge of computers and cycling is required.

सैलरी (Salary)
असिस्टेंट ब्रांच पोस्टमास्टर : 10,000 - 24,470 रु/माह, ब्रांच पोस्टमास्टर : 12,000 से 29,380 रु/माह, अन्य अलाउंस का लाभ भी मिलेगा।
Assistant Branch Postmaster: Rs. 10,000 - 24,470 per month, Branch Postmaster: Rs. 12,000 to 29,380 per month, other allowances will also be provided.
आयु (Age)
18 - 40 वर्ष , एससी, एसटी : 5 साल की छूट, ओबीसी : 3 साल की छूट, दिव्यांग : 10 साल की छूट।
