The Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog is a type of bulldog bred in the United States and used as a guard dog. It is a sturdy and muscular breed with a large head and brachycephalic muzzle. Its coat is short, usually white, black, blue, fawn or brown with dark spots and the tail is not docked. The breed has sexual dimorphism, with the larger dogs weighing up to twice as much as the smaller bitches. No major kennel club has recognized it as a breed. The Alapaha's fur is relatively short and coarse.
