Ariégeois Pointer breed has a storied history, although it is a relatively young breed, being a mix of three earlier dogs that originated in France. The Ariégeois Pointer breed is not for everyone. This energetic breed is not recommended for those who are inactive, lack a lot of land, or have small animals in their home. This breed is best suited for experienced dog owners who go hunting and engage in other active activities.
