बखरवाल कुत्ते की नस्ल की जानकारी (Bakharwal Dog Breed Information)

बखरवाल कुत्ता उत्तर भारत में पाता है। यह भारत के पीर पंजाल पर्वतमाला में पाने वाली एक प्राचीन भारतीय नस्ल है, जहाँ कई सदियों से बकरवाल और गुज्जर खानाबदोश जनजातियों द्वारा पशुपालक और रक्षा रक्षक में पाला रहा है। हालाँकि बखरवाल कुत्ता मुख्य से भारत में पाता है, यह अफ़ग़ानिस्तान और पाकिस्तान में कम संख्या में पाया जाता है।

The Bakharwal Dog is found in North India. It is an ancient Indian breed native to the Pir Panjal mountain range of India, where it has been bred for centuries by the Bakharwal and Gujjar nomadic tribes as a herder and guard dog. Although the Bakharwal Dog is primarily found in India, it is found in small numbers in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

अध्ययन के अनुसार, यह नस्ल विलुप्त के कगार पर है और बकरवाल समुदाय ने इस जानवर को लुप्तप्राय प्रजातियों की श्रेणी में शामिल की अपील की है। ऐसे कई मामले आए हैं जब इस पहाड़ी नस्ल के कुत्ते को रेबीज हुआ या अलगाववादी आतंकवादियों ने गोली मार दी।

According to studies, the breed is on the verge of extinction, and the Bakharwal community has appealed for its inclusion in the endangered species list. There have been several cases where this mountain breed has contracted rabies or been shot by separatist militants.
