अमेरिकन बुली डॉग छोटा, घना, छूने पर सख्त और चमकदार है। किसी प्रकार के रंग और डिज़ाइन स्वीकार्य हैं। अमेरिकन बुली का सिर मध्यम आकार का होता है, जिसमें गहरी, चौड़ी खोपड़ी, उभरी गाल की मांसपेशियाँ, ध्यान देने योग्य ललाट और ऊँचे कान हैं। ऐल्बिनिज़म को छोड़कर सभी रंग, गोल से अंडाकार, सिर के नीचे और दूर-दूर स्थित। मध्य

The American Bully Dog is small, stocky, hard to the touch and shiny. Any variety of colors and designs are acceptable. The American Bully has a medium-sized head, with a deep, broad skull, prominent cheek muscles, noticeable forehead and high ears. All colors except albinism, round to oval, low on the head and far apart. Medium length, round on top and somewhat square below the eyes, falling abruptly. The lower jaw must be strong and firm in the bite. Lips should be tight and flat, looseness is acceptable but not desirable. The upper teeth should touch the outside of the lower teeth securely, a scissor bite is acceptable.
