Incorporated in July 1995, Raksan Transformers Limited is an ISO-certified company that manufactures transformers across various voltage ratings. The company produces a diverse range of transformers, including distribution transformers, power transformers, transformers for solar applications, and special-purpose transformers. These are utilized in power generation, transmission, and distribution networks, as well as in various industrial and infrastructure projects. Initially focused on the repair and servicing of distribution and power transformers, the company commenced transformer manufacturing in 2005–06. Since then, it has expanded its operations to include two manufacturing units located at Rai, Sonipat, Haryana. As of June 2026, the company employed 143 full-time staff members, comprising 113 production personnel and others across departments such as design, quality control, finance, procurement and stores, sales and marketing, human resources, and administration.

As of March 31, 2026, the company operates through two manufacturing units spanning approximately 2,025 square meters and 1,012.5 square meters, respectively. Their combined production capacity stands at approximately 1,500,000 kVA for distribution transformers and 1,350 MVA for power transformers. These units are equipped with machinery for core cutting, coil winding, assembly, tank fabrication, oil filtration, welding, and testing. The company possesses in-house facilities for core cutting/slitting, wire or strip drawing, and tank fabrication, alongside an in-house testing laboratory for conducting routine and type tests.
